Party Founding Museum Showcases Feats of Kim Il Sung

Pyongyang, October 11 (KCNA) -- Many people have visited the Party Founding Museum in Pyongyang on the occasion of the anniversary of the Workers' Party of Korea (WPK).

Kim Chun Hui, a section chief of the museum, told KCNA that thousands of people have visited the museum every day in October.

The museum is the place where the President Kim Il Sung founded the revolutionary party of Juche type and wisely guided the effort for the building of a new country.

Preserved there are materials, office room, reception room, conference room and others showing the great feats the President performed in founding the party, state and army.

He proclaimed the founding of WPK in the conference room on October 10, Juche 34 (1945).

The visitors can listen to the speech he delivered in the WPK inaugural meeting.

The museum has been supplemented with more than 90 materials like pictures of the President and anti-Japanese war hero Kim Jong Suk, famous works written by the President, newspapers, books, photographs and relics.

The museum serves as a reminder of the President's feats in party building.
