Police Human Rights Abuses Protested in S. Korea

Pyongyang, October 11 (KCNA) -- A deputy spokesman for the Democratic Labor Party of south Korea made public a commentary on Oct. 5 denouncing the authorities for their anti-human rights policy.

The commentary accused the present "government" of wantonly violating human rights.

The chief executive appointed his confidant Hyon Pyong Chol as chairman of the Human Rights Committee and paralyzed its function, it deplored.

Human rights situation can never improve if the present regime continues defending such guys as Hyon, it stressed.
