Moscow, October 7 (KCNA) -- An extra rescue compartment for nuclear submarine was tested successfully in a vessel repair center in Severodbinsk, Russia, some time ago.

The multipurpose compartment, the first of its kind in the country, enables crew to come to the surface of the water when an accident occurs.

It will be reportedly sent to the Russian Navy in November.
