Sudan Rejects U.S. Incentives for Ceasefire

Pyongyang, October 8 (KCNA) -- The deputy chairman of the National Congress Party of Sudan in a press conference on October 4 rejected the U.S. promise for aid.

As regards the recent report that the U.S. promised to give aid to Sudan, he said that his country is not interested in such promise at all.

Meanwhile a spokesman for the Sudanese Ministry of Foreign Affairs said that America has kept promising to provide assistance to Sudan year after year.

He further reiterated that any American claims of providing incentives to Sudan would be associated with the U.S. elections where the U.S. president or the U.S. Congress directs the message to the U.S. voters and not to Sudan.
