Pyongyang Undergoes Facelifting

Pyongyang, October 7 (KCNA) -- The DPRK capital city of Pyongyang has been facelifted.

Old fences have been replaced with granite, iron and live fences and bridge parapets renewed.

Plastic fences have appeared near main intersections and roads and streets are decked with multi-storied, multi-shaped flower beds.

Railroads are flanked with curbstones and plants.

Footways not only in the downtown but in the suburbs are paved with colorful blocks.

Light decorations of different colors and shapes add to the beauty of Pyongyang.
