Pyongyang, October 7 (KCNA) -- Civic and social organizations of different circles in south Korea including labor and academic ones held a meeting in Seoul on Oct. 5 to declare intensive actions against the authorities' moves for the conclusion of humiliating FTA, according to KBS of south Korea.

Its participants dismissed FTA with the U.S. as a treaty leading the nation to ruin because it is aimed to deteriorate the people's living.

They declared they would enter into a hunger sit-in strike and candlelight actions from that day.

We will launch a struggle across south Korea to punish the assemblymen who consented to "the motion calling for the ratification of FTA," they stated.
