Pyongyang, October 7 (KCNA) -- General Secretary Kim Jong Il received a floral basket from Mahmoud Abbas, chief of the Palestinian National Authority. The presentation was made on the anniversary of his reelection as general secretary of the Workers' Party of Korea and the 66th birthday of the WPK.

Palestinian Ambassador to the DPRK Ismail Ahmed Mohamed Hasan handed it over to Kim Yong Il, alternate member of the Political Bureau and secretary of the Central Committee of the WPK, on Friday.
