Pyongyang, October 6 (KCNA) -- The Joint Chiefs of Staff of south Korea announced on Thursday that the south Korean army would conduct firing exercises on islands on the West Sea of Korea including Paekryong and Yonphyong islands, according to the south Korean CBS.

It was reported that all firing weapons deployed there would be involved in the exercises to be supervised by the command for defense of islands in northwest areas of south Korea.
