S. Korean Authorities Assailed for Moves to Conclude FTA

Pyongyang, October 6 (KCNA) -- The deputy spokesman for the Democratic Labor Party of south Korea released a commentary on Tuesday denouncing the authorities for going busy with the moves to conclude the humiliating south Korea-U.S. FTA.

The commentary referred to the fact that U.S. President Obama Monday presented a bill on implementation of south Korea-U.S. FTA to the U.S. Congress.

Keeping pace with this, the authorities and "the Grand National Party" of south Korea are crying out for an early passage of the "motion calling for the NA's ratification," the commentary said, and went on:

This once again brought to light the humiliating behavior of the regime blindly yielding to the demand of the U.S.

It is the reality that the regime and the GNP of south Korea feel proud of serving the U.S., utterly indifferent to the interests of the people.

The commentary dismissed FTA full of poisonous articles as a country-selling agreement as it makes south Korean economy increasingly dependent on the U.S.

The Democratic Labor Party will make every effort to deter the "National Assembly" from passing the bill, it said.
