KCNA Commentary on S. Korea's Anti-DPRK Smear Broadcasting Campaign

Pyongyang, October 5 (KCNA) -- The south Korean puppet clique is becoming evermore desperate in its smear broadcasting campaign against the DPRK.

The group of traitors keeps airing anti-DPRK broadcasting programs in the same frequency band as used by the TV broadcasting in the DPRK and conducting its anti-DPRK radio propaganda with the same radio frequency band as used in the DPRK.

This is an outright violation of international convention and order and a treacherous act of leading the inter-Korean relations to the worst phase.

The International Treaty of Tele-communication clearly stipulates that application for the use of frequency should precede and the use of a certain frequency is possible only with the user's approval. It is an illegal act in wanton contravention of international law and order to infringe upon the frequency already in official use by other country and region.

The group of traitors has committed radio wave-piracy, as if it were not enough with scattering leaflets, DVDs and transistor radios in the DPRK to hurt its system. This goes to clearly prove that it is the brazen-faced group utterly indifferent to international law and order.

Its anti-DPRK broadcasting propaganda is a treacherous and anti-reunification action to incite the confrontation with compatriots in ideology and system.

The group is working hard to create grievances among people in the DPRK through despicable psychological warfare and bring down socialism.

No one can destroy the politically stable and solid Korean-style socialist system.

The DPRK has more than once strongly demanded the puppet clique stop its anti-DPRK psychological campaign.

It served a strong warning that in case such campaign goes on, its bases would not escape a merciless punishment by the army of the DPRK.

The group of traitors will be held wholly accountable for all the consequences to be entailed by the smear broadcasting campaign.
