Moscow, October 3 (KCNA) -- Russian President Dmitri Medvedev sent a congratulatory message to President Hu Jintao on the occasion of the 62nd birthday of the People's Republic of China.

In his message Medvedev said Russia values the close and reciprocal strategic partnership with China.

He expressed his belief that the Chinese people will as ever successfully carry out the tasks for the country's stable development and prosperity.
