Pyongyang, October 3 (KCNA) -- A new nuclear power plant Atucha II went operational in Argentina on Sept. 28.

The generating capacity of the nuclear power plant, the third one in the country, is 700,000 kw.

It was reported that the operation of the three nuclear power units would only provide 10 percent of the electric power Argentina generates.
