Pakistani PM Rejects U.S. Demand

Pyongyang, October 3 (KCNA) -- Pakistani Prime Minister Syed Yusuf Raza Gilani, addressing a meeting on Thursday, rejected the U.S. demand "to do more" in the "anti-terrorist war".

The allegations by several top U.S. military leaders that the country's intelligence agency would help Afghan militant groups simply ignored the immense sacrifices rendered by the people and Armed Forces of Pakistan, he noted.

The U.S. is demanding the Pakistani government do more in the "anti-terrorist war", he said, stressing that it will never yield to the U.S. pressure.
