Fidel Castro Condemns U.S. Arbitrary Practices

Havana, October 2 (KCNA) -- Fidel Castro, leader of the Cuban revolution, in an article on Sept. 29 condemned the U.S. for its arbitrary practices.

Recently the U.S. judicial authorities deprived a Cuban patriot of his right to return home after serving his prison term for no reason. In this regard Fidel Castro said that the U.S. is trampling down on the freedom of the Cuban patriots defying the demand of the world.

The article bluntly rejected the remarks made by the U.S. chief executive that it has willingness to restore normal relations with Cuba upon any political change in Cuba.

The 50 odd year-long blockade and all crimes committed by the U.S. could not bring the Cuban people to their knees, the article noted, adding Cuba will never step back in its cause to make the country free and prosperous no matter how long the U.S. pressure may go on.

The U.S. is building military bases in different parts of the world and increasing every year the military budget to the tune of astronomical figure, waging so many wars in violation of the sovereignty of other countries, it noted.

Through war, the imperialists' mode of existence, the U.S. seeks to put the world under its military domination, it said, stressing the need to politically ostracize such war maniacs and shatter munitions and financial monopolies backing them.

It called upon the overwhelming majority of the world people and those of developing countries, in particular, to get united to defend themselves from neo-colonialism, destroy imperialism and achieve the equality of the world.
