Pyongyang, October 2 (KCNA) -- Rev. Kim Yong Ju, leader of the Council of Christian Churches in south Korea, called for improving the north-south relations. He made this call at the interview with Internet newspaper Thongil News on Sept. 29.

He visited the DPRK as a member of the delegation of 7 religious orders of south Korea.

The south and north of Korea should shake off distrust and improve the relations at an early date, he said, adding:

I hope this occasion would render even a little help to defusing tension in the inter-Korean relations. I will do what I can do as a religionist.
