Pyongyang, October 1 (KCNA) -- Kim Yong Nam, president of the Presidium of the DPRK Supreme People's Assembly, Saturday sent a message of greeting to Dimitris Christofias, president of the Republic of Cyprus, on the occasion of its independence day.

Kim in the message wished the people of Cyprus successes in their work for peaceful reunification and development of the country.
