Pyongyang, October 1 (KCNA) -- Saeb Erekat, a senior negotiator of the Palestinian National Authority, in an interview with a news agency on Sept. 27, condemned Israel's moves to expand Jewish settlements.

That day the Israeli authorities announced the plan to build 1,100 Jewish houses in East Kuds. By this decision, Israel is squarely challenging the efforts of the international community to resume the Palestine-Israel peace talks, he charged.
