Moscow, September 30 (KCNA) -- The Russian Foreign Ministry in a statement on Sept. 28 expressed concern over the Israeli authorities' plan to expand Jewish settlements.

The statement accused the Israeli authorities of announcing the plan to build new Jewish settlements in East Kuds at a time when the world community is taking every effort to resume Palestinian-Israeli peace talks.

It urged them to cancel the plan.
