Pyongyang, September 30 (KCNA) -- Dong Minjie, consul general of China in Chongjin of the DPRK, gave a reception on Friday on the 62nd birthday of the People's Republic of China.

Present there on invitation were Pak Kyong Su, secretary general of the North Hamgyong Provincial People's Committee, officials concerned and Vyacheslav Tsupikov, consul general of the Russian Federation in Chongjin.

Staff members of the Chinese Consulate General were on hand.

Speeches were made at the reception.
