Moscow, September 29 (KCNA) -- Russian President Dmitri Medvedev on Tuesday called for proper defense expenditures in the country.

Inspecting a military drill staged in Chelyabinsk Region, he said, "We can't live without proper military spendings in the Russian Federation."

Expenditures for purchase of latest-shape weapons and servicepersons' salary and houses will become one of the top priorities in the country, he added.
