Pyongyang, September 30 (KCNA) -- A funeral service for the late Pak Yong Gil, wife of Rev. Mun Ik Hwan, took place at Hanshin University in Seoul on Sept. 28.

The People's Funeral Committee for Presbyterian Pak Yong Gil who explored the Road of Spring of Reunification presided over the service. It was attended by more than 300 personages of political and public circles.

A message of condolence and eulogy, etc. were read out at the service.

The participants expressed condolences over her death, saying they would always remember her who dedicated her life to the nation, working as an honorary representative of the south side preparatory committee for the south, the north and overseas joint event for implementing the June 15 joint declaration and permanent advisor to the association for reunification, etc.
