Moscow, September 28 (KCNA) -- Russia is steadily pushing forward the deployment of mobile missile complex Yars.

The second missile regiment equipped with Yars will enter into combat duty before the end of this year, the commander of the Strategic Rocket Forces of Russia said in a press conference on Sept. 26.

In case Russia deploys Yars equipped with inter-continental ballistic missile PC-24, the combat power of the strike group of the Strategic Rocket Forces will increase to cope with the missile defense system and then it will help bolster up the nuclear deterrent of the strategic nuclear armed forces of Russia, he stressed.
