Natural Disasters in Cambodia, Thailand

Pyongyang, September 29 (KCNA) -- Heavy rains fell in Cambodia, causing flood damage.

The flood left 97 persons dead in 14 provinces, 40 000 hectares of farmlands wasted and thousands of domestic animals dead as of Sept. 26.

Heavy rains fell in Thailand from July, causing flood damage.

154 persons died in 57 provinces, three others reported missing and more than 1 000 buildings, 1 700 schools and 230 hospitals destroyed as of Sept. 26. They claimed a total of about 2 million victims.
