Moscow, September 23 (KCNA) -- The Russian foreign minister on Tuesday voiced his country's readiness to support the Palestinian statehood.

In a press interview Sergei Lavrov said Palestinians are going to call for approving their sovereign state during the UN General Assembly session.

Russia supports their effort, he added.
