Pyongyang, September 24 (KCNA) -- Myanmar Vice-President Sai Mauk Kham on Sept. 21 urged athletes in the country to strive for promoting the standards of Myanmar sports sector.

He stressed the need for athletes to have perseverance, fitness and high aim to keep abreast of the world sports.

The sports organizations should play their role to register successes in international matches, he added.
