Pyongyang, September 24 (KCNA) -- Nigerian President Goodluck Jonathan, addressing the UN General Assembly session Wednesday, clarified the stand of the government to strengthen the fight against terrorism.

"The increasing use of terror in various regions of the world as a form of political action poses a serious threat to international peace and security," said Jonathan.

The Nigerian government and people will collaborate even more closely with the international community in the fight against the terrorist threat, he stressed.
