Moscow, September 23 (KCNA) -- Defense Minister of Russia Anatoly Serzhukov referred to the building of the air defense system on Sept. 22.

The air defense system for depth deployment consisting of modern missile complexes demonstrated its might in the recent joint mobile exercises of the armed forces of Russia and Belarus "Shield of federation-2011", he said.

The system built in the course of the exercises can become a model of the joint air defense of the Collective Security Treaty Organization countries, he stressed.
