Closer Exchange with Kim Il Sung University Called for by Chinese Educator

Pyongyang, September 24 (KCNA) -- Chen Dewen, secretary of the party and head of the delegation of Jilin University of China which took part in the international symposium in commemoration of Kim Il Sung University's 65th anniversary, expressed his will to boost exchange with the university.

Noting that the symposium offered an opportunity to swap experience, he said:

During the symposium we grasped the value of the Sino-DPRK friendship.

The two countries linked by the same rivers and mountain have a long history of friendship.

The Sino-DPRK friendship whose unbreakable nature has been proved in the struggle for the common objective is growing stronger as the days go by.

China and the DPRK have brisk exchange and cooperation in many fields including politics, economy and culture.

The successes achieved in this course are treasures common to them.

The Sino-DPRK friendly relations are rooted deep in the minds of the peoples of the two countries.

During our stay in the DPRK we were accorded cordial hospitality by the Korean people everywhere we went.

Through this we deeply felt the friendly feelings of the Korean people toward the Chinese people.

The two countries are developing exchange in the field of education.

Our university is boosting exchange with different educational and scientific research institutions in the DPRK.

Our university signed an agreement on developing exchange with Kim Il Sung University in May.

Kim Il Sung University is the highest seat of learning and a center for training native cadres in the DPRK.

Kim Il Sung University is playing an important role in educational exchange and cooperation between the two countries.
