Moscow, September 22 (KCNA) -- Russia is channeling sustained big efforts into beefing up its navy.

Russia plans to build 20 strategic submarines for its navy in 10-15 years to come. This was clarified by Vladimir Vosotski, commander-in-chief of the Navy of Russia, at a meeting on Sept. 20.

Surface warships of different classes are in the process of serial building, he added.
