Pyongyang, September 23 (KCNA) -- Brazilian President Dilma Vana Rousseff, addressing the General Assembly High-Level Meeting on the Prevention and Control of Non-Communicable Diseases Monday, said that countries around the world should continue to band together to fight non-communicable diseases.

Her country is also suffering many casualties due to the non-communicable diseases, she noted, adding that the government is taking various steps to prevent diseases.

She called upon all the countries in the world to continue pooling their efforts for a dynamic drive to prevent non-communicable diseases.
