Pyongyang, September 22 (KCNA) -- A Russia-Kazakhstan joint military exercise, called "Center-2011", started in Kazakhstan recently.

The exercise draw an estimated 3 500 personnel and more than 550 pieces of military equipment, including planes, as well as 43 vessels.

It is being staged according to a plan to form allied forces under the command of the staff of the Kazakh army.
