Kim Jong Suk's Feats in Upholding Songun Idea

Pyongyang, September 22 (KCNA) -- Kim Jong Suk, an anti-Japanese war hero, devoted her all to upholding the Songun (military-first) idea and leadership of President Kim Il Sung.

It was in Nengzhiying, the Sandaowan guerrilla zone, in March Juche 24 (1935) that she had a chance to meet with the President for the first time. During the anti-Japanese armed struggle, she defended the President at the risk of life, like in the Damalugou and Dashahe gully battles. She also conducted underground political activities to arouse broad masses of people to the anti-Japanese struggle.

It was her lifelong motto to be faithful to the President's Songun idea.

Joining the Korean People's Revolutionary Army in September 1935, she made up her mind to always remain loyal to the President.

When staying in the Qingfeng Secret Camp in February 1939, she resolutely safeguarded the President's revolutionary ideas from the slander of the camp's head who betrayed the revolution, overcome by difficulties.

Feats she performed in following the President's Songun leadership were also recorded in the history of the building of Juche-based revolutionary armed forces after the country's liberation.
