S. Korean Inhabitant Refuses to Admit His Violation of NSL

Pyongyang, September 22 (KCNA) -- A south Korean inhabitant on Sept. 15 did not yield to the pressure of the prosecution for admitting his violation of the "National Security Law" while being investigated at the Seoul District Prosecutor's Office, according to the south Korean Internet paper Jajuminbo.

That day the prosecution conducted an investigation into his praise of the north, charging him with violation of the NSL, and pressurized him to sign the paper on the charge.

Refusing to sign the paper, the inhabitant insisted that the charge is not a crime as praising and encouraging the north was done, guided by conscience.

The inhabitant continued:

The NSL is so draconic law and anti-reunification law that not only the people of conscience but the international organizations recommended its repeal.

I will not beg the prosecution or the judicial authorities to commute the penalty to be imposed upon me but bravely fight on.

This is because I have not committed any crime.
