More Suicides in S. Korea: Regional Organization

Pyongyang, September 22 (KCNA) -- The International Alliance of Societies for the Study of the Juche Idea and Songun Policy in East European and Central Asian Regions on Sept. 17 posted on its Internet homepage an article headlined "South Korea Ill-famed for Suicide".

South Korea tops the world list of suicide rate, the article said, adding:

Cases of suicide are on the annual increase in south Korea, presenting itself as a serious social issue.

Noting that such trend in south Korea is attributable to the authorities' unpopular policy and the U.S. neo-colonial rule, the article went on:

South Korea lacks its culture. There are in south Korea only cultures of the U.S., Japan and the West.

Cultural substitutes bring only degeneration, nihilism and despair.

Suicide can never be found in the DPRK.

This fact alone is enough to prove the superiority of the socialist system in Juche Korea to the colonial puppet regime in south Korea.
