DPRK Anniversary Marked in Its Missions abroad

Pyongyang, September 18 (KCNA) -- Receptions, book and photo exhibitions and film shows were held at the DPRK missions in different countries and the permanent missions of the DPRK at the UN, the UN Office in Geneva and international organizations from September 5 to 9 on the 63rd birthday of the DPRK.

They included missions in China, Cuba, Vietnam, Laos, Iran, India, Bangladesh, Mongolia, Malaysia, Ethiopia, South Africa, Peru, Mexico, the Czech Republic, Uzbekistan, France, Germany, Austria, Bulgaria and Italy.

Displayed in the venues of the events were works of President Kim Il Sung and leader Kim Jong Il, photos showing their exploits and books and photos introducing the path covered by the DPRK.

Films shown included "Country Shining with Arms of Mt. Paektu" and "Pyongyang at Night."

Present there on invitation were personages of governments, political parties, organizations, groups for the study of the Juche idea and organizations for friendship and solidarity with the Korean people in those countries, diplomatic envoys and figures of international and regional organizations and nongovernmental organizations.

Officials of the DPRK missions attended the events.
