DPRK Book, Photo and Handicraft Exhibitions Open in Peru and Brazil

Pyongyang, September 17 (KCNA) -- Korean book, photo and handicraft exhibitions were opened in Peru and Brazil on Sept. 1 and 5 on the occasion of the 63rd birthday of the DPRK.

On display in the venues were works of President Kim Il Sung and leader Kim Jong Il and photos on their exploits, books and photos introducing the prospering DPRK and handicrafts associated with the wisdom and talents of Koreans.

The mayor of Huancayo, Junin, Peru said that the exhibition provided Peruvian people with an opportunity to know better about the reality of the DPRK making a dynamic advance towards a great prosperous and powerful nation under the leadership of Kim Jong Il.

The chairman of the Sao Paulo Woodworkers Union of Brazil said the exhibition would offer an opportunity to know better about the working class and all other people of Korea who have achieved shining successes in their efforts to build a thriving nation.
