Korea, Socialist Power: Foreigners

Pyongyang, September 16 (KCNA) -- Foreigners praised the reality of socialist Korea of Juche.

Antti Sika Aho, chairman of the Finnish Mangyongdae Committee for Commemorating the Centenary of Birth of President Kim Il Sung, said in a statement on Sept. 7:

Under the wise leadership of Kim Il Sung the DPRK rehabilitated in a brief span of time the economy destroyed by the three year-war ignited by the U.S. imperialists, provided the people with an independent and happy life and worked a miracle of building a tax-free socialist land of bliss.

Such achievements and changes in the DPRK struck the developed industrial states by admiration.

The people's life is steadily improving, external relations have expanded and the defence capability remarkably increased thanks to the most correct policies of the Workers' Party of Korea (WPK).

Eleazar Ramos Loarte, secretary general of the Peruvian Group for the Study of Kimilsungism, issued an article titled "Korea, socialist power" on Sept. 6. It noted:

The DPRK is pushing forward the economic construction for the wellbeing of the people despite the economic blockade and sanctions of the hostile forces.

The United States will never be able to bring socialist Korea to its knees but itself kneel down again just as in the 1950s.

The decisive factor of all victories in the DPRK is the wise leadership of Kim Jong Il, general secretary of the WPK and chairman of the DPRK National Defence Commission.

Atanas Ivanov, honorary chairman of the Bulgarian Communists Union, in a TV appearance on Sept. 7 resolutely rejected the false information of the West about the DPRK. He praised the DPRK as a socialist country in which all people lead a harmonious life.
