Pyongyang, September 15 (KCNA) -- A national public presentation of scientific and technological achievements made in the field of garment took place on Wednesday and Thursday.

The participants heard more than 70 papers dealing with the achievements made in developing the garment industry and dressing culture of the Korean people.

Drawing the interest of the attendants was experience gained in introducing latest science and technology to garment production and establishing theories and methods for producing Korean-style fashion designs suited to figures of Koreans including the Korean costume designing.

Among the papers were those dealing with the successes made in improving the quality of products and boosting labor productivity.

Present there were officials concerned, researchers, teachers and working people from scientific and educational institutions in the field of garment and production units from across the country.
