DPRK's Birthday Observed by Foreign Media

Pyongyang, September 15 (KCNA) -- Foreign media released commemorative reports on the 63rd anniversary of the Democratic People's Republic of Korea.

The Syrian paper Al Baath on Sept. 8 carried an article titled "On 63rd birthday of DPRK, bulwark of socialism."

From the very day of its founding the DPRK has dynamically pushed forward the socialist cause, guided by the Juche idea, the Songun idea founded by President Kim Il Sung.

Leader Kim Jong Il pursued the Songun politics, the embodiment of the Songun idea of the President late in the last century when the arbitrary practices of the imperialists went to extremes in the international arena.

The feats the President performed in the nation-building are being successfully carried forward by Kim Jong Il, chairman of the National Defence Commission.

The Domestic Channel of the Guinean Radio Broadcasting Service on Sept. 7 said the Korean people crushed the Japanese imperialists and liberated the country and humbled the U.S. arrogance in the past Fatherland Liberation War by force of arms, demonstrating their sovereignty and dignity.

The Russian paper Selskaya Zhizn and the Namibian paper New Era on Sept. 6 and the Pakistani paper Baluchistan Times on Sept. 4 introduced the undying leadership feats of the President who triumphantly hewed out the road of the Songun revolution under the uplifted banner of Songun and thus built a fortress of self-defence on this land and pursued politics for the people all his life.

The Lao National TV on Sept. 2 aired a Korean film of the April Spring Friendship Art Festival.
