Pyongyang, September 12 (KCNA) -- Two strategic bombers of the Russian Air Forces Thursday made patrol flights over the vicinity of Japan, the Japanese newspaper Tokyo Shimbun reported Friday.

The bombers flied over the Pacific and the southern Kurils for about 19 hours but never entered Japan's territorial air, said a spokesperson for the Russian Defense Ministry.
