Pyongyang, September 11 (KCNA) -- Venezuelan Foreign Minister Nicolas Maduro Moros in a statement on September 8 condemned the U.S. for unilaterally labeling several officials of the government of his country drug traffickers.

The U.S. is the world's largest marihuana producer and drug consumer, the statement said, accusing it of styling itself a "world police".

Venezuela will in the future, too, intensify combating drug trafficking and consolidate the gains it has already made, it noted.
