DPRK, People's Country: Foreign Papers

Pyongyang, September 11 (KCNA) -- Newspapers of Bangladesh, Myanmar and Uruguay carried special write-ups with portraits of President Kim Il Sung and leader Kim Jong Il and a photo of them standing together on Mt. Paektu on the 63rd anniversary of the Democratic People's Republic of Korea.

The Bangladeshi paper News Today on September 3 said that the idea and theory of nation-building advanced by the President are the original ones centering on the working people.

The DPRK is fully providing the popular masses with all freedom and rights and firmly guaranteeing them the civilized material and cultural life, it stressed.

The Myanmar paper The Voice on the same day said that the DPRK is a people's country both in name and reality. Before founding the DPRK the President pursued the policies reflecting the will and demand of the people and thoroughly applied them, it noted.

The DPRK is regarding it as the supreme principle of its activities to defend the interests of the people and as its fundamental aim to steadily improve their material and cultural life, it added.

The Uruguayan paper La Juventud on September 4 praised the President for building the people's power, new type power of the working class, and strengthening it into a powerful weapon for accomplishing the socialist cause.
