63rd Birthday of DPRK Observed in Different Countries

Pyongyang, September 11 (KCNA) -- Seminars, photo exhibitions and film shows took place in Nepal, Pakistan, Nigeria and Bangladesh between September 2 and 4 to mark the 63rd founding anniversary of the Democratic People's Republic of Korea.

On display in the venues of the events were photos showing the immortal revolutionary exploits of President Kim Il Sung and leader Kim Jong Il.

Participants of the film shows watched the Korean film "Fireworks for a Thriving Nation".

C. P. Mainali, general secretary of the Central Committee of the Nepal Communist Party (Marxist-Leninist), said that the foundation of the DPRK would be unthinkable without the immortal exploits of Kim Il Sung.

Muhammad Berkat Ullah, chief of the Pakistani Organization for the Study of the Juche Idea, highly praised the great exploits of the President for nation-building, noting with admiration that the foundation of the Republic was a historical event which made the Korean people the dignified people of an independent sovereign state.

Aba Sadik Abubakr, chairman of the Nigerian Group for the Study of the Juche Philosophy, and other speakers noted that the socialist system of the DPRK is the best in the world as it places the interests of the people above all, adding that the DPRK is invincible by Songun.

M. Jahangir Khan, advisor of the Bangladesh Barisal Society for the Study of Songun Policy, and other speakers stressed that the foundation of the DPRK by Kim Il Sung made immortal and great contributions to the Korean revolution and the human cause of independence.

A message of greeting to Kim Jong Il was adopted at the event in Nepal.
