Floral Baskets Laid before Portrait of Kim Jong Suk

Pyongyang, September 9 (KCNA) -- An event of laying floral baskets and bouquets before the portrait of anti-Japanese war hero Kim Jong Suk took place at Kim Jong Suk Kindergarten in Ulan Bator, Mongolia on September 1.

Present at the event were Mongolian officials concerned and other Mongolians and the DPRK ambassador to Mongolia and staff members of the embassy.

The participants laid floral baskets and bouquets before the portrait of Kim Jong Suk and paid tribute to her.

A. Narangerel, director of the kindergarten, said about the honor of naming the kindergarten after anti-Japanese war hero Kim Jong Suk. The director referred to the fact that the kindergarten has worked hard to help its children know well about the undying revolutionary feats of the woman commander of Mt. Paektu and bring them up as pillars of future who will contribute to the development of the friendly relations between the two countries.

The director praised the Korean builders working in Mongolia for reconstructing in a short span of time the kindergarten which was hit by flood in summer and changing its appearance beyond recognition. The director extended deepest thanks to Kim Jong Il, the great leader of the Korean people.

The director expressed the belief the kindergarten would educate all its children so that they might grow up to be admirable patriots by learning from Kim Jong Suk and contribute to the development of the friendly relations of the two countries.
