Sri Lankan President Rejects West's Accusations

Pyongyang, September 8 (KCNA) -- Sri Lankan President Mahinda Rajapaksa on Sunday launched a broadside against western countries.

The West recently took issue with the Sri Lankan government over human rights abuses during the civil war, calling Sri Lanka to stand accountable over alleged rights abuses.

The West is offering funds and havens to terrorists, he noted.

Cruel terrorist acts are ceaselessly increasing due to the West's double standard policy on terrorism, he charged.
