Moscow, September 6 (KCNA) -- Russia plans to double the length of modern roads in a decade.

Russian Prime Minister Vladimir Putin said the country adopted a decision to render assistance to federal subjects for the building of paved roads between sparsely populated areas.

The fund for this purpose is included in the 2011-2013 federal budgets, he added.
