Pyongyang, September 7 (KCNA) -- A summit of the Commonwealth of Independent States was held in Dushanbe, Tajikistan on September 3.

Present there were heads of state and representatives of governments of the CIS including Russia, Kazakhstan, Ukraine and Tajikistan.

Discussed there were the issues of developing multi-faceted cooperation among member nations in the economic and other various fields.

An agreement on anti-air defense and an agreement on eternally remembering bravery and heroism displayed by the participants in the great Patriotic War were signed at the end of the summit.
