Tehran, September 5 (KCNA) -- The Atomic Energy Organization of Iran Saturday said the Bushehr Atomic Power Plant with a production capacity of 1 000 MW was connected with national grid.

The atomic power plant, the first of its kind in the country, has started supplying 60 MW at an initial stage.

The connection is aimed to provide foundations necessary for the plant's full operation.
