Beijing, September 5 (KCNA) -- Jia Qinglin, president of the National Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference, called for developing potentials for a sustained growth of the economy and enhancing its competitive power.

During his recent inspection tour of the Inner Mongolian Autonomous Region, Jia said it is necessary to promote the healthy economic development and protect ecology and environment in order to build a comprehensively well-off society.
