Birthday of DPRK Observed in Different Countries

Pyongyang, September 6 (KCNA) -- Lectures took place in Iran and Guinea between August 27 and 30 to mark the 63rd birthday of the DPRK.

The Director General for Public Relations of the Iranian Workers' House recalled in a lecture that President Kim Il Sung founded the DPRK on September 9, 1948.

He continued:

The DPRK regards it as its supreme principle of its activities to protect the interests of the people and deems it as its fundamental aim to steadily improve the standard of their material and cultural life.

All freedoms and rights are fully guaranteed to the people and their material and cultural life fully ensured in the DPRK.

The deputy director of the Kim Il Sung Institute of Agricultural Science in Guinea explained in a lecture that the President founded the Juche idea, guiding idea in the era of independence, in his early days and put forth the idea of global independence by embodying it in the field of international politics.

The exploits the President performed for the development of the Non-aligned Movement (NAM) occupy a special place in carrying out the cause of global independence, he stressed.

The chairman of the Group for the Study of the Juche Idea at Kankan University in Guinea noted in a lecture titled "Exploits performed by President Kim Il Sung in the nation-building" that his building of the DPRK into an invincible socialist power with firm political, military and economic foundations provided a sure guarantee for its dynamic advance along the way of steady victories.
